Recognize flu symptoms:

  • rapid onset of a fever (greater than 100 degrees)
  • body aches
  • headache
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • possible vomiting and/or diarrhea

Prevent the spread of the flu:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand cleaners.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, mouth or nose before washing your hands.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or use tissues when coughing or sneezing.
  • Don't share food, drinks or utensils.
  • Follow Center for Disease Control guidelines.
