Hurricane Response Plan: Essential Personnel
Director of Communications & Public Relations and Web Master
To ensure the University’s public information response to the emergency is quick, accurate, sensitive and responsible, the Office of Communications and Public Relations, at the direction of the President, will coordinate communications with campus and off-campus media. The Director of Communications will provide announcements to the local radio, television and newspapers, and campus media about the closing of the University and will update the campus main phone number. The Web Master will maintain the University’s web site.
