The Christopher Newport University Police Department has been informed of the following criminal activity:

The Christopher Newport University Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred on the University's East Campus. The robbery occurred on December 4, 2008, at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Madison Hall. The victim was approached by two black males both wearing black pants and black hoodies. One suspect was wearing a doo rag. The suspects were described as being approximately 20 to 30 years of age and approximately 6'2” to 6'5” in height. One of the suspects was described as being approximately 220 pounds and the other suspect was described as being approximately 180 pounds. One of the males brandished a hand gun and demanded the victim's wallet. While the suspects fled the area, a shot was fired, though not at anyone. The suspects were last observed heading toward University Suites Apartment complex.
