The Christopher Newport University Police Department has been informed of the following criminal activity:

The Christopher Newport University Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred on the University’s East Campus. The robbery occurred on November 23, 2008, at approximately 7:25 p.m.in the Barclay Apartment parking lot. The victim was approached by a black male, approximately 20 to 25 years of age, wearing a black hoodie. The suspect was further described as having short black hair, no facial hair and was wearing blue jeans. The suspect brandished a hand gun and demanded the victim's wallet. The victim observed the suspect flee the area on foot towards the Village.
